A body was found in Cloetesville on the morning of 26 August.
When SMF News arrived on the scene, the body could be seen lying against the exterior wall of a building on the side of Adam Tas Road (R44) near the turnoff to Langstraat in Cloetesville.
The body was found at around 8:00, according to Captain Labuchagne, from the South African Police Service (SAPS).

There was a large police presence at the scene. SAPS forensic services finished taking photos at approximately 11:10. Shortly afterwards, plainclothes officers were seen arriving on scene.
When SMF News returned to the scene at 12:55, the body had been removed, and the police had left the scene. The area around where the body was found was still cordoned off.
