Stellenbosch University’s (SU) Student Parliament held their second ordinary sitting on 30 April. During this session, the question of political affiliation within the student electoral commission was on the agenda.
According to the sitting’s facilitator, speaker Dawn Manqoyi, agenda points could be submitted by any SU student before the meeting. The student who submitted this agenda point was Bukhobenkosi Matyumza, an SU student and South African Students Congress (SASCO) member.
