Two persons allegedly involved in this morning’s incident were arrested on the R310 near De Wijnlanden Estate just after 11am.
Chris du Toit from AM Security’s tactical unit told MatieMedia on the scene of the arrest that seven people were allegedly involved in the robbery.
He heard a description of the suspect vehicle on the radio and later spotted the vehicle. He gave chase and was fired upon.
He managed to force the vehicle off the road and arrested two suspects. Five ran away and were being pursued.
